Mormons and Money
An Interesting article on Mormonism in the Aug. 13 & 20, 2012 issue of THE NEW YORKER calls the Mormon Church "A mercantile church and a missionary church." Ammon Hennacy used to call it
"a banker's church." The author of the NEW YORKER article, Adam Gopnik, goes on the say "...almost every American religion sooner or later becomes a Gospel of Wealth." RS
